Charlotte Schuyler is a skilled writer, editor, and fundraiser. She joined the Conservative Partnership Institute in 2021 after more than a decade at The Heritage Foundation. As director of member communications at CPI, she writes and manages all written communications to CPI partners, with the goal of connecting these patriots with the organization that is building, supporting, and uniting the movement.
As messaging editor and senior writer at The Heritage Foundation, her writing inspired, informed, and honored Heritage members and major donors. She wrote speeches and op-eds for Heritage leadership and served as managing editor for Heritage Members News and Heritage’s Young Leaders Magazine. Schuyler’s op-eds have appeared in The Washington Times and The Daily Signal.
Schuyler has also lent her talents to the wider conservative movement as a freelance writer and editor. Her past clients include Prager University Foundation, FreedomWorks, Oregon Right to Life, and American Principles Project, and numerous local Christian missions and community causes.
She began her fundraising and writing career in 2008 as a philanthropy manager at the National Wildlife Federation. She is the 2020 recipient of The Heritage Foundation’s Joseph R. Shattan Award for excellence in writing and was a 2020 Claremont Institute Speechwriters Fellow. She earned her undergraduate degree at George Mason University, where she majored in English and minored in journalism.
