Tim Reitz joined CPI in 2026 as Senior Director of External Relations, after having spent over a decade working on Capitol Hill in various capacities, including Chief of Staff to former Rep. Jody Hice, R-GA, from 2019 to 2022.
Tim most recently served as the Executive Director of the House Freedom Caucus, a post he held from 2022 to 2026. In this role, he helped lead the Caucus through major legislative accomplishments such as the Speaker of the House elections in 2023 and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act in 2025.
Tim’s service has been recognized in The Hill as one of “25 Staffers Who Make Capitol Hill Run.” He is also the recipient of the Conservative Partnership Institute’s 2023 Alexander Hamilton Award.
He is a graduate of Georgia State University, and lives in Alexandria, VA, with his wonderful wife, Dawn-Marie, and their two English bulldogs, Rocco and Rockette.
